2M Company

Sales/Service and Complete Customer Focus

2M Company, Inc. was founded in June of 1978 in Billings, MT by Bill Mills and Chester Majors (the two "M's"). Bill managed a water well wholesale supplier and Chester was a factory representative for Wade Rain, an agricultural irrigation manufacturer. Chester retired in 1994 and Bill remained as sole owner of the company.

The company was founded on one principle: The Customer Always Comes First! From this principle the philosophy of providing "Legendary Service" was formed and is now the foundation and motto of the entire company.

The Headwater Companies have been incubating for 63 years. As pump companies exited direct distribution models in the 1970’s and 1980’s, wholesale distributors specializing in groundwater pumping equipment filled the void by supplying and supporting all products and services needed by installing groundwater professionals. Many strong local and regional distributors flourished during this period of time through today.

Drillers Service, Inc.

The Heart of a Contractor

Drillers Service, Inc. was founded in 1954 by H. Jack Faw, Sr. Jack was the son of Rueben E. Faw, a long time water well driller and pump installer in the Hickory area. Jack worked in his father’s business until his father retired. At that time, he decided to take his knowledge of drilling wells and installing pumps to a different level. The experience he gained from working with his father gave him just what he needed to incorporate a successful distribution business in the water well industry. He called his new business Drillers Service, Inc. and opened for business in May, 1954 with five employees.

Things have changed a lot since May of 1954. However, the leaders and employees of DSI still have the same goal they had then - to provide their customers with products and services that are unrivaled by any others in the water and fluid handling industries.
