In April of 2017, Headwater Companies launched with the purchase of 2M Company, Drillers Service, Inc., Western Hydro and 2MDSI. In the summer of that year, 2MDSI became Headwater Wholesale. In January 2018, Headwater Companies added Valley Farms Supply to the group. Milan Supply Company became part of Headwater Companies in January 2019. Tri-Valley Supply Company and Kokomo Pump Supply joined in June of 2019. In 2020, Alternative Supply located in Dillwyn, Virginia became part of DSI. Gicon Engineered Pumps and Gicon Pumps & Equipment joined in January of 2021, and in January of 2022 Blake Equipment joined Headwater Companies. In November of 2022, Casper Well Products became part of 2M Company.
